Will you watch Cotto vs. Trout fight? Well, Miguel Cotto (37-3, 30 KO) who is from Puerto Rico will be facing a much younger and undefeated boxer from US who is currently the WBA light middleweight champ named Austin Trout (25-0, 14 KO). After Cotto’s defeat from his last fight against another American boxer – Floyd Mayweather Jr., he can not be stopped and still continue to challenge champs and will try to steal from the younger Trout.

Trout-Cotto fightThe fight will be held on December 1st this year at the Madison Square Garden in New York, USA. This boxing event is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions. Some boxing enthusiasts are comparing this boxing event with the Dec. 8 Pacquiao-Marquez 4 but I believe this is far different. This boxing event that features Cotto and Trout will surely write something in the history of boxing.

You might want to watch the following video showing the most recent Cotto-Trout NYC press conference:

Miguel Cotto: “I am really excited to come back to my second home. Fighting at The Garden is always special for me and a true pleasure. There is something unique in the atmosphere and it means a lot to me every time I fight there because the energy of the fans gives me extra motivation. Austin Trout will be a challenge for me, but I will win my fifth world championship on December 1.”

Austin Trout: “Miguel Cotto needs no introduction. He’s a true champion and one of the best fighters of the last 10 years, but I’m the present and future of the sport and this is just the showcase I need to prove to the world that I’m one of the best, pound-for-pound. I can’t wait to fight in such a legendary place like Madison Square Garden; it’s every fighter’s dream.”
